Who we are
El Diablo Racing Clutches is a division of GoFastHP. We have been blueprinting and refurbishing Kart racing clutches for other racers since 2007. We can rebuild and blueprint any type of disc or drum clutch on the market as long as parts are available for it. We have several track championships in several states and numerous wins across the globe. Our flat rate pricing is located to the left on this page. Please be aware that the Horstman Reaper, Horstman X-5, and Tomar TD-43 clutches are a higher cost to rebuild due to higher disc cost and a short supply of parts. We do not rebuild the Ward Revolution clutch because parts are no longer available.
How we do it
Our clutch machine is a custom fixture that uses a proprietary disc instead of the normal grinding stones that most machines use. This allows us to take off as much or as little material as we need to. Many clutch machines center on the inside of the clutch using the center hub. If the center hub is not perfectly straight, then your discs won't be either. This is why we use the outer circumference of the clutch, to produce a evenly machined piece.
